Mike Peirce - Managing Director
Mike is former CTO of lastminute.com and Tiscali (formerly LibertySurf). He has been working with Unite as a strategic consultant for several years and was Director of e-Business with the media agency that delivered the e-commerce property solution to Spiccerhart, the largest estate agent in the UK. While at lastminute.com Mike was instrumental at Board level in defining and implementing the travel transaction solution that encompassed packages and hotel property bookings, and managed a staff of over 150 in 3 countries with a budget in excess of £15m. He has a long history of successful startup experience, built on a firm Blue Chip foundation of 7 years at the Kroger Company as head of R&D.
Mr. Sales and Marketing Director
Is currently Head of e-Commerce at the largest corporate provider of student accommodation in the UK, where he is accountable for user experience, digital strategy and business development. He has developed a deep understanding of the student property market, from managing the largest property in their portfolio to developing their online strategy.
Mr. Operations Director
He has performed senior line and consulting roles in the multi-channel retail arena for a decade, and with a career spanning over twenty years he has worked in the IT and retail sectors for businesses such as Kingfisher, Argos and BIS. Recent roles include General Manager and CTO of an international educational start-up, and Director of Consulting for a niche retail systems consultancy. He brings a strong blend of pragmatism and drive, and is tasked with ensuring that the business delivers against the launch and trading plans
